Windsurfing: Aldeburgh Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: F4 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: warm Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Good session for the first couple of hours, well powered on 5.5m. Cracked
some nice gybes and then starting practising duck gybes. Managed one, but
it was all over the place... but a duck gybe none the less.
5 or 6 other people out which was nice to see.
Wind started to drop as forecast, so rigged 6.25m got another good hour.
The Storm 6.25m feels very heavy compared to the 5.5m and if anything feels
just as heavy as the T2 7.5m
With the tide static I kept picking up loads of sea weed on the fin which
really slowed me down. Intensely annoying as only way to shake it was to
jump off the board.
Rocket board definitely kicks a** on flat water. I was planning about
easily when others were struggling. Also v quick - I was going just as
fast, if not faster than a flow on the water
